With countless years of dedicated role-playing experience between them, the Twisted Chronicles LLC team, consisting of company owners and creators Christopher Davies and Max Lopez, are preparing to unleash a whole new world of Vampirism, terror and intrigue, in the form of Gothic Society.

Our passion for creativity, understanding of popular role-playing culture and dynamics, and shared vision, has spawned a more user friendly system, as opposed to the laborious dice rolling nature of some other games currently on the market, that allows player to build there system the way they want it with a number of modifiers that can be used or removed.
Who is more qualified to create a player friendly gaming system, than a team who have themselves experienced the frustration of labour intensive, statistic heavy gaming and understand that this is not the true essence of role-playing. What sets Gothic Society apart, is that its creators and writers are not only truly ardent sculptors of language, but are long time, avid role-players.

What Is Gothic Society™

The world of Gothic Society is a world of gothic horror and suspense where humanity has been taken over by legendary monsters and human beings have become little more than food and resource to them. You play a young Vampyre cast into the shadows of humanity’s nightmares and you choose how your character will react to the world before him. There are unlimited possibilities that your character can be exposed to in the world and a wide variety of dangers he may experience.

The world has been thrust into a new era of horror where the oldest Vampyre known to exist Lucifer, the first born of Satan, has managed to take over the world. He has fastened his own personal kingdom with humanity enslaved at his feet. There has been no one to challenge his strength and power until recently with the awakening of his half sister Asmodeus, the third born child of Satan. Asmodeus has risen to challenge the rule of Luciferus, not for the sake of humanity, but to quench her own thirst for power. A blood war wages between the two oldest Vampyre’s and all are caught in its wake.

You must choose to support the loyalists of Luciferus, the free brotherhood of Asmodeus, or to serve your own personal goals of power and wealth swearing loyalty only to yourself. In Gothic Society Vampyres are long descended children of Satan, the abominable child of Lucifer the Morning Star and Lilith the first wife of Adam. Demons in the form of man with an undying thirst for human blood they have managed to free themselves from their fears of humanity and brought the world to its knees.

They are but a twisted offspring cursed by sin passed down to each of them by their parents through the bloodlines. Pride, Greed, Lust, Wrath, Gluttony, Envy and Sloth are each given life and legend by the birth of these monsters.

Vampyre Dark Genesis - A Gothic Society Source Book

The book consists of many chapters and stories to help you understand not only the game of Gothic Society, from creating a character to using the Twisted Chronicles game system, but to understand the fictional world of Vampyre rulers and human rebellions. There is no chapter in this book that should ever be considered more important than your own imagination. This book is a guide and resource to your own desires and not a replacement for your own creativity.

Every chapter in the book is aimed at enforcing creativity and a sense of gothic horror. This book should not be used as a reference tool to explain the true existence of Vampyres, nor should it be used to strengthen any religious or political views of the modern world.

The book is made to play a game, and is nothing more than a fictional role-play book. That being said, there will be some information and stories that will be seen as graphic and include adult content. Strong sexual interpretations and shocking visions of torture, mayhem and murder will be described. It is urged the readers understand nothing written in the book should be taken as the desire, will or want of any Twisted Chronicles employee for the immediate future or welfare for any human life. Twisted Chronicles takes pride in being a company of human beings and hopes that we all remain free people and not under the rule of any supernatural creatures
enslaved for eternity.

Discordium - An Online Gothic Society Chronicle

Discordium is an online rpg chat set in Silver City, where players will have the chance to join a global community of role-players to shape and manipulate an ever evolving chronicle.
Discordium is based on the vampire rpg Gothic Society published by Twisted Chronicles LLC, that sees the modern world dominated by the vampire offspring of Satan.

Over the coming weeks we are going to be giving people the chance to come and try Vampyre Dark Genesis online, create a character with the help of myself or Max, learn more about the game and the system behind it and try out a mini chronicle. If people are interested they can login directly to Discordium.

Myself and Max will be on the site Monday to Fridays between 17:30 and 00:00 GMT, and on and off Saturdays and Sunday depending on other commitments, there will be time when we might be loged in but not at our machines so please just bare with us.

People will sit down and create a basic sheet with us, that will allow people to interact with other players and take part in a mini chronicles we will be running. Those people currently with a copy of Vampyre Dark Genesis that wish to go into more dept with there characters are welcome to do so.

In a few months as our member base grows we hope to turn the chat over to a 24/7 format with a team of chronicle keepers running both small personal chronicles and a large scale city sized chronicle that will shape the Gothic Society game line and also feature as a forth coming supplement due in print early next year.

Many of the core themes of Gothic Society® deal with personal horror, evil acts against people, racism, sexuality, violence and exaggerated beliefs.
